i helped my buddy Debi with her baby's room - little Grace! Debi's husband Justin & Danny went to the Steelers game so got to do baby stuff!

Debi wanted a princess look BUT not scream princess. we went to jo-anns and got some sheer stuff and lots of ribbon. We also got the G R A C E letters, painted them white and put pink polka dots on them! way cute. they painted the room pale yellow with cherry furniture and the cutest pink/yellow animal/polka dot bedding with matching lamp and things. this really tied the room together.

We put the sheers also over a window on the other side of the room. anyhoo - not being a girly girl, i still think its cute - mission accomplished. ** click the pics to see them better PLUS the pics are off the blackberry so not that great **

a corrigan christmas

we had a great holiday this year. we had a super time at my moms annual xmas eve party. christmas morning we opened our gifts, then the brothers and mom came over for breakfast and more gifts. then as always, we head to my dads so again more gifts (hey im not complaining....) and dinner. we got cash from my dad instead of presents so can you say new flatscreen for the livingroom - heck ya! lots of food this year....that new wii fit is going to come in handy.

we hope our friends had a great holiday with their friends and family too!!! 2009 is around the corner.....

football and holiday cookies

Sunday was cookie day. Danny is a hardcore christmas cookie maker but this year was tame compared to past seasons. My mom got him an apron that looks like santas jacket and oh yes he wore it but would break my legs if i took a picture of him in it. But you know Id wear AND get a picture in it for sure! we made those marshmellow/cornflake wreaths, chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips, and loads of sugar cookies. thats all. we didnt send any out this year so we didnt buck wild but that just means next year GAME ON.

zoo light averted...

so we were supposed to go to dinner then the zoo for some animals, xmas lights and ice skating but the line to just get in the parking lot stretched for miles! Forget that! so we turned around and hit up a bar....drank entirely too much but had fun. wish we saw the zoo - maybe we'll give it another whirl when its not a saturday night :)

Wii in the Workplace

Today I decided to throw Julie a Jul-Wii Birthday Party. We picked up Chipotle, I brought in a TV and we hooked up the Wii! What a stress reliver! I think we miht all pitch in and buy one for the studio!

Thanksgiving - in 'da hood

We had Tday at my twin brother chris'. He converted an old auto body shop/garage into a loft a few years ago....he did an amazing job BUT its the last section of town that is 'da hood for sure! However we always have fun there - watching fireworks and cooking out on his roof - not too mention when we've had a little too much to drink...throw bottles through the windows at the empty building next door! This year was a little lo-key but the weather was FANTASTIC and we played some cornhole!

Before we left though we got some good football tossin in and played with Parker!



Danny also added some more lights to the house....looks like a winter wonderland :)

Christmas Lights up - before Tday - thats how we roll.

So Tuesday we got the xmas bug - we put the tree up, added some decor in the house and danny put some lights up outside yesterday! People think we are crazy BUT if you think about it, Tday is late and it was the 25th...1 month from Christmas.....so we were right on time!

THE ART OF THE OSU-MICHIGAN TAILGATE

1. You don't have tickets but you go down at 8:00a anyways (with long johns and hand warmers)



2. Start drinking when you arrive.


3. Make new friends - who you won't remember b/c you drank too too.




4. Pretend to shoot down the Goodyear blimpe because it is Michigan colors.









5. Pose with Brutus the Buckeye.














6. Try on a Big Ten Championship ring that some random towel boy from the 90's had (while passing out free jello shots).











7. East lots of cooked meat.










8. Go to some bar to watch the game and get warm






9. Go to Blockbuster drunk and pose with teen heartthrob cutouts.























10. Go home and play with the dog then crash.
