we need more 3 day weekends!!!

lets invent some more holidays so we can all have great weekends like this one. we were busy BUT it was a good busy. Friday night we did nothing. Saturday we went to jessi and joshs for some keg wiffle ball. PBR on tap, sunshine, a guy with a clown face...you cant beat it. Danny's team won.

next, we headed to my dads house for a cookout. my aunt and uncle from canada were in town so had some good food and caught up.

Sunday we went camping at buckeye lake. had a blast! its close so we are 100% going again, super soon!

Parker went swmming - much better this time than the last.

It rained for about 20 mins, so had to go into the tent...we played war!

Had to bring cornhole....

Race for the Cure - F U cancer!

This weekend was race for the cure. it was recording breaking withthe city raising over $2 million, 45,000 people participated PLUS danny and I beat our last time - 27.44 for 5k! I was dying by the last .25 miles - in fact, i was hoping they would give me an oxygen mask! BUT we did it! Staying out the night before drinking on mark and andreas porch was probably not the best idea...

Afterwards we all went to breakfast - then I slept till 4pm.

Today was a good one, danny is now grilling and me - I relaxed with a glass of wine, listening to the birds and reading tabloid magazine goodness.

TOTALLY RAD 30TH BIRTHDAY

So it was the most amazing bday weekend EVER! Work was STELLAR (they threw me a breakfast club party!), Then off to a clippers game that night. Which it rained, however the new stadium has a huge bar on the 2nd floor that over looks the field - so did some damage up there!

OH and Danny had my name on the big screen!
But the best part was that they screwed up and it said I was 29! haha!



THEN after too many shots, we get in the car and Im ready to puke. Somehow we ended up at the airport and JONI was there with a Tina Turner face cutout! I could NOT believe it. 1. I was a second away from throwing up (which I did later) and 2. i didnt know what was going on. The best surprise "operation punky brewtser" thanks to danny and joni.


The next day I surprisly did well and we shopped all over for extra 80's gear for our party. We found the most hideous backdrop for our "glamour shots" set up!

Finally the 30th party arrived. we had such a blast. Jessi and Josh got us an old school polariod camera even. We drank cheap beer, ate white castles, danced, and sang 80's kaeoke songs!!








I had to put Joni back on the plane today - so sad - vapors :( BUT danny pulled such a good one on me having her come! Was just unbelievable. LOVE YOU MY 20 SOMETHING HUSBAND. Well just till tomorrow - this party is still not over!

My Last day in my 20's

WOW! i dont feel 30 BUT when I think about when I was in my teens how FAR 30 was away - and its here! Crazy!

Ive had a great 29 years and 364 days - growing up i had lots of friends and lots of freedoms. high school I was lucky enough to attend a private school where I could be captains of tennis/lacrosse/basketballs teams and excell at whatever I put my mind to PLUS made great friendships. College I got to go to Boston University and enjoy lots of traveling with all the fun of the college life. Then moved to PHX and started a carrier as a graphic designer - 5 years later, met the man of my dreams and move back to my hometown to start a new life and get married!

I hear the 30's are great so bring it on!
